CSU Anime Club Infomation
Introduction
2007 marks the first official year for the Anime Club at Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga.
As a new club, we exist for the purpose of giving the fans of Japanese Animation & Manga a place to view new and rare animations, meet like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, discuss their interests, and most importantly bring students of different faculties together. We shall endeavor to bring about about greater knowledge and appreciation of Japanese Animation & Manga, and its underlying culture, to the Charles Sturt University community and the Wagga Wagga community as a whole.

History
It all started in 2006. After persuading a large, Anime-illiterate, group to watch 13 straight episodes of ‘Descendants of Darkness’, Lucia Turley thought: “I wonder if someone has a bigger screen to watch Anime on.”
So from that simplistic thought in September 2006, Lucia regularly finds herself in the SVPA Theatrette working alongside Katrina Tolentino, Kerry Bolwell and Sze Fang (Kelly) Num to improve the Anime Club.
